PayShift terms.

The plain-English version of what you're agreeing to by using PayShift.

This is a plain-language summary written to be actually readable, not a substitute for legal advice. If you need terms tailored to a specific jurisdiction, have a lawyer look them over.

Using PayShift

PayShift is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use on your own devices. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app.

Your data, your responsibility

You're responsible for the accuracy of the shifts, rates and settings you enter. PayShift calculates estimates based on what you provide, it doesn't verify your hours or rates against any employer record.

Not tax or financial advice

PayShift's tax and pay calculations are estimates meant to help you plan, not professional tax, legal, or financial advice. For anything that affects your actual tax filing, check with a qualified professional or your local tax authority.

In-app purchases

The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple under their own policies, JE-Design can't issue refunds directly.

No warranty

PayShift is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Care is taken to keep calculations accurate, but JE-Design doesn't guarantee the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, JE-Design isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of PayShift, including decisions made based on its calculations.

Changes

These terms, and the app itself, may change over time. Continuing to use PayShift after an update means you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
